Possibly written by a non-family member, 'Findlay' is spelt here without the 'd', yet by a hand accustomed to writing. The date here, 11th of November 1841, pre-dates the date written two pages previous and 'Sally' or 'Tally' can be faintly seen along side the Findlay name. 'Penpont' is a Scottish place name.
